3)   Plan and go for it

·        Do you need more training? Investigate how - colleges, learn direct, home study, mentoring.

·        Need less hours? How much do you need to earn and therefore how many hours do you have to work?

·        Want to be more confident when addressing team members? Go to a night school course or weekend course on public speaking.

·        Need more IT skills - identify which and sign up for some training.

·        Need to begin to downsize - get a plan of action together - talk to your boss. Mentor an individual keen to take on more responsibility.

·        Need flexibility of earnings? Get into sales!

·        Want freedom - set up your own business. Visit your local business link for help.

·        Want to work with children. Investigate government initiatives to earn as you learn.

·        All work and no play? Choose a new hobby however unusual and go for it!
