Dear Mrs Anderson

I noticed you were advertising for a Senior Customer Service Manager in last night's evening paper.

I am extremely interested in this position as I am seeking a new challenge having worked for my current company for the last five years.

My main skills are:

  • Team management, currently supervise six members of staff
  • Ability to effectively liaise with customers at all levels, 800 calls received daily
  • Excel reporting - I prepare month end statistics and graphs for the board

I enclose my CV for your consideration and hope to hear from you in due course.

Yours sincerely

John Campbell
