6 months assignment with leading organisation, to become involved in incident and problem resolution on key applications as well as system upgrades. Key applications are based on Oracle and SQL server databases.
Working in a busy, professional team, your key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing the causes of breaks to their business system services, through to resolution thereof.
- Ensuring the return to "normal" service for users happens asap.
- Liaise with support staff and service desk teams.
- Ensure problem and change management procedures are followed at all times.
- Undertake tests on the business systems as a whole.
