Initially a six months assignment with an option to extend, based within the department responsible for effecting systems, processes and strategies' implementation, managing change and delivering key objectives within a variety of projects. This role interfaces with many other departments and individuals and will require an individual with a proven track record in project management ideally within a large multi-faceted organisation. This role will involve some travel around Northamptonshire, therefore, the selected candidate must have an up to date driving licence.

 

Reporting in to a senior Director, responsible for Programme delivery, this role requires a Project Manager who is able to work towards agreed goals both independently and as part of a professional team.  A project management qualification or equivalent is highly desired as well as recent experience of managing change to effectively deliver set objectives. Experience within the NHS/public sector is also highly desirable. Other areas of expertise sought include:-

• Experience of working with a senior management team.
• In depth understanding of policies, strategies and structures.
• Understanding of service improvement tools and techniques.
• High level of analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with all members of staff, including training and mentoring where applicable, stakeholders and partners.
• Passion to improve services and deliver results within an agreed timetable.
• Ensuring all work undertaken meets the criteria of best practice.
• The ability to influence others to meet all agreed targets and policies governing change.
• IT literate in order to produce your own documents, reports and presentations.
• An extremely interesting and challenging assignment.
