Ideally suiting an Individual with a manufacturing or similar background, who understands the real aspects of costing within this type of environment. A key role, consolidating all the financial information and reporting theron. Reporting in to the European FC, with a dotted line responsibility to the General Manager on site, fluency in French is absolutely essential for this role. Ideally well grounded in accounting within a manufacturing or similar focused organisation, this extremely rewarding but nonetheless challenging role, would suit an Individual eager to "make their mark", who is not only excellent technically, but has the charisma and experience to liaise and lead Individuals from many cultures and work ethics. Excellent position with leading commercial organisation requiring an Individual from a particularly business driven/KPI background, who is both finance and people focused and is able to deliver not only in relation to day to day accounting issues, but also in relation to specific projects. Reporting to the FD, supervising and mentoring four members of staff, key responsibilities will include:- Reviewing and preparing in depth financial information, relating to revenues and income, funding and commercial projects Acting as key Finance contact for all line managers and divisional heads, for costing and budgetary information Developing new systems, improving reporting formats, reviewing management information and how it impacts on the business Collating and reviewing financial information, ensuring accuracy before releasing such information. Assisting with a member of new business projects and integrating them into the main systems and processes. 6 - 9 months assignment with leading organisation, producing year end accounts, detailed reconciliations, indepth reporting including financial modelling, must have proven experience and have IFRS experience. Excellent position. Working as part of the Senior Management team, this role supervises a small reconciliations team, with key responsibilities as follows:- Detailed annual accounts preparation, budgets and forecasting. Detailed balance sheet accounting, reporting to IFRS Reporting on controls and processes and offering advice re improvements Producing and evaluating statistical returns Attending senior management meetings and delivering presentations. Must have proven experience within this area, but fully comfortable with all aspects of financial modelling, have good interpersonal skills and is capable of delivering to key indicators. Please note: This role is changing - details to follow shortly. This is a superb role for an entrepreneurial Accountant who is much more than a number cruncher! Must have vision and be able to support a rapidly expanding businesses, not only with the development of management information, but in all strategic and commercial issues. Excellent communication skills are required as this certainly is not a "back office" position appointment. Supporting a dynamic team of Directors and their management team, this role brings together day to day finance coupled with commercial business planning and implementing expansion plans on a firm foundation. Naturally you will be able to prepare the monthly management pack and developing KPIs, cost centres and other reporting tools You will advise on future expansion plans from a financial viewpoint, including raising finance, meeting banks and other potential investees You will support overseas' relations and delivery of goods from factories in the Far East. You will develop budgetary processes, have effective cash management skills and provide advice and guidance where needed. The Directors are specialists in their fields and this role is paramount to allow them to concentrate on their talents. Future prospects are exceptional, with potential share options.
